About Clifford James

Clifford James offers a wide variety of comfortable clothing, shoes and innovative items for use around the home and garden at the most competitive prices.

The Program

We have a high conversion rate, which is due to the high usability of our website and our competitive prices – many of our customers take advantage of a wealth of price-breaking offers, such as ‘2 for 1’ on men’s leather shoes. We also have many returning customers, so affiliates will often earn multiple commissions from the same customer during the 30 day cookie period.

A compelling rate of 10% is offered to you for every sale. With an average order value of around £40 for shoe and clothing sales, and upwards of £65 for home and garden products, average commissions are approximately £5.00 per sale. We are happy to discuss increasing this rate of commission for our highest performing affiliates, and are also willing to consider offering prizes for competitions in certain circumstances. Please note that commissions are paid on total basket value minus VAT and delivery.

Delivery is £3.95 for most items, excluding those marked ‘heavy’, which are dispatched via specialist couriers at a charge of £9.95.

Cookie length is 30 days.

Transactions are validated once orders have been dispatched and the returns period has passed (usually 10 days).

Commission for online orders is paid on final transaction amount after all discounts have been applied.

Linking Methods and Creative

Clifford James provides a variety of linking methods and creative options, including a variety of banners and product datafeeds. We would request that affiliates do not alter any of the creative or text links available through the Affiliate Window interface without prior written consent from The Digital House. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so that any creative updates take immediate effect.

In certain circumstances bespoke/co-branded creative, emails or landing pages can be created on request. Please contact The Digital House to discuss this further.

A product datafeed is provided with the most accurate pricing available everyday through the Affiliate Window interface.

Affiliates are requested to make every effort to maintain the most current pricing information in their promotions.
