Commission Structure
Maplin Offer a tiered commission structure across all the range:
4% Flat rate commission
5% After £5000 of sales achieved
Best thing of all is that you are given a full calendar Month to achieve the £5000 and if you achieve the sales value in the month this means the next month you will be on the 5% commission structure for the whole calendar month. If you maintain the £5000 sales value you will remain on the 5% commission in the next calendar month.
Please note that a commission of 2.5% will be paid out for all transactions in which a voucher code is used
Deeplink Generator Restrictions
The deeplink generator within the Affiliate Window interface will not work for Maplin because of the alternative tracking implemented for Maplin.
If you wish to generate your own deep links all you need to do is simply copy the URL of the page you wish to deep link to and add this parameter to the query string of the destination URL:
C=AffilWin!!!id!!!
(Remember to replace !!!id!!! with your own affiliate id)
If a question mark (the start of the query string) doesn’t already exist you’ll need to add it to the end of the link. Alternatively append the value with an ampersand (&). So for example the destination URL for a Seagate 750gb hard drive is:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/750gb-seagate-freeagent-desktop-drive-221814
To make it track-able to your affiliate account would be simply:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/750gb-seagate-freeagent-desktop-drive-221814?C=AffilWin!!!id!!!
If you place this track-able URL into a web browser you’ll see it brings up the correct page and your AWin id stays within the destination URL. Always make sure you replace !!!id!!! with your own affiliate ID.
